Q: How did you hear about Coast Inc?
A: I was looking for a long-term job with career growth since my previous position wasn't fulfilling. I applied for several jobs and was drawn to the culture at Coast Inc. From what I read, it seemed inspiring. Meeting with Nicole and Taylor during the interview solidified my interest. They painted a clear picture of Coast's direction, which sounded like a great opportunity. The positive culture and supportive management were big factors in my decision to join.
Q: What is it like to work with Coast Inc?
A: The most important aspect of working at Coast is having fun. Every day involves engaging with people and being surrounded by a positive team. It's rare to find a workplace with no drama, where everyone is supportive and willing to help. The system here creates a fun atmosphere, making daily tasks enjoyable. People like Abbi make the recruiting process great, contributing to a positive environment.
Q: How has Coast Inc. helped you achieve your goals?
A: Coast has taught me how to handle different situations, establish a better routine, and become more organized in both my professional and personal life. The lessons from top leaders here have been invaluable. By combining my own skills, and what I've learned from others, I've achieved significant success. My nickname, Richie Skills, reflects my ability to apply these lessons effectively.
Q: What does working at Coast Inc. mean to you?
A: Working at Coast feels like being part of a family. The emphasis on culture and the potential for success are evident. Initially, I struggled, but once I started taking things seriously, I saw rapid growth. Observing colleagues who have been here for two to three years inspired me. The work ethic, student mentality, and development opportunities at Coast make it a great place to build a career.
Q: How does Coast fit your personality?
A: I fit well with Coast because the company provides excellent training and a clear system for success. My competitive nature, honed from sports, helps in sales and team-building. Applying what I've learned here allows me to lead others effectively. The ability to overcome challenges and continuously learn is crucial, and Coast's system supports this. Being competitive drives me to succeed and helps me mentor others to do the same.
Q: Who is your biggest inspiration and why?
A: Nicole is my biggest inspiration because she believed in me from the start. During our interview, she understood my situation and remained positive, which was encouraging. Her approach to work and life has been a guiding force for me. Additionally, Edgar, Luis, and Jenna have all been supportive, helping me grow and learn from my mistakes. Their guidance has been instrumental in my success.
Q: What advice would you give to candidates?
A: I always share my experience. The first day can be tough, but it's a journey of learning and development. I had doubts initially, but by focusing on what I wanted to achieve and seeking advice from experienced colleagues, I realized the potential for success. Persistence and dedication are key. If you see potential, go all in and don't give up.

With a vibrant personality and a knack for humor, Rich brings a lively spirit to the workplace. Growing up, Rich was inspired by his grandmother, a server, and initially followed her path into the restaurant business. Though he struggled with public speaking and interacting with customers at first, he quickly learned and adapted, treating his tasks like a sport to improve his skills. His career continued through college, where he further developed his public speaking abilities.
